SETH
2008 Mortgage Credit Certificate Program-
SETH has a
program that provides a tax credit of up to $2,000/year for
eligible homebuyers. The tax credit is received each year for
the life of the mortgage loan. This program has higher income
limits and does not have a first time homebuyer requirement for
many of our jurisdictions. Program coverage areas include the
counties of Austin, Chambers, Liberty, Matagorda, Waller, Walker
& Wharton and the cities of: Baytown, Deer Park, Dickinson, La
Marque, La Porte, League City, Pasadena, Santa Fe, Shoreacres,
Texas City and Tomball.

City of Pasadena -
SETH administers the first-time
homebuyers program for the city of Pasadena. These funds are
available to first-time homebuyers in an amount not to exceed
$7,500 for a
existing home, $14,500 for a newly constructed home, or $19,000
for a home in the Sunrise Meadows Subdivision per
household. These funds may be used for down payment and closing costs
to purchase a home
in Pasadena, Texas.

Fort
Bend County First Time Homebuyer’s Program
–
SETH is not
accepting applications at this time. We have exhausted our
allotted funds under the current contract. The County has
approved the next contract. We anticipate accepting
applications again in October 2008. Please check back for an
application for the next Fort Bend County Program.

Texas
Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) HOME Program
–
SETH
expects to begin accepting applications for this program in
August 2008. The program will cover the counties of Austin,
Chambers, Matagorda, Waller, Walker, Wharton and Galveston
County (except the City of Galveston) and the Cities of Baytown,
Cleveland and Pearland. Applications are not available at this
time. Please check back for an application for the TDHCA HOME
Program.
